Cosa significa IPR?

IPR sta per Intellectual Property Rights, che si riferisce ai diritti di proprietà intellettuale. Intellectual Property è un prodotto IPR necessario per produrre il risultato di un contratto, ma che non è stato creato all'interno di quel contratto. L'accesso a un prodotto IPR di background non creato sotto contratto ESA verrà concesso per l'uso ESA gratuito (in contratti completamente finanziati; per contratti parzialmente finanziati l'accesso è concesso alle condizioni favorevoli del contractor). I diritti di proprietà intellettuale di background si riferiscono ai diritti di proprietà intellettuale di un prodotto necessario per produrre il risultato di un contratto, ma creato prima o durante l'esecuzione del contratto.
